Approved Technologies

The SAFETY Act provides two levels of liability protections for approval: Designation and Certification. By obtaining either Designation or Certification, companies obtain a level of legal protection in case their technology is ever put to use during a terrorist attack. See below for a list of approved technology certifications.

Terrorism, Crime, and Natural Disaster Awareness Training for Private Security Officers Approved: July 24, 2026 \| Expires: June 30, 2029 The Homeland Security Consulting Group, LLC (HSCG) provides Terrorism Awareness Training for Private Security Officers. The Technology is a publicly available, online, self-paced awareness training program covering threats, defenses, responses, and on-post quality assurance.
Titan HST Approved: July 08, 2026 \| Expires: July 31, 2031 Titan Health & Security Technologies, Inc. provides Titan HST (the Technology). The Technology is an emergency communications platform provided as software-as-a-service. The Technology enables customers to communicate safety and security information via a web-based and mobile application. The Technology is an artificial intelligence (AI)-enabled platform developed to detect faces and firearms in video surveillance feeds from cameras installed at customers’ sites and alert customers of threats.
