Approved Technologies

The SAFETY Act provides two levels of liability protections for approval: Designation and Certification. By obtaining either Designation or Certification, companies obtain a level of legal protection in case their technology is ever put to use during a terrorist attack. See below for a list of approved technology certifications.

Analogic Corporation provides the Checkpoint CT Baggage Screening System (ConneCT or the Technology). The Technology is designed to detect explosives and other prohibited items, and is used for the screening of carry-on luggage at airports and other screening checkpoints. The Technology includes technical manuals, warranty and maintenance services, site surveys, installation and on-site support, training services and all personnel and contractor qualifications.

3D K9 Partners LLC provides 3D K9 Explosive Detection Canine Services. The Technology is Explosive Detection Canine Services deployed within the United States and its territories, using explosive detection canine teams (EDCTs) consisting of an explosive detection canine and a single explosive detection canine-handler searching for explosives in stationary positions. The Technology also includes hiring and vetting, training, policies and procedures, testing, exercises, and an oversight program for proprietary personnel.


Baltimore Ravens Limited Partnership

Approved: April 16, 2025 | Expires: May 31, 2030

The Baltimore Ravens Limited Partnership (“Ravens”) provides the M&T Bank Stadium Security Program. The Technology is a comprehensive program that includes the screening of visitors, vendors, and packages, emergency plans, threat assessments, physical and electronic security equipment, and trained personnel. The Technology applies to the entire stadium property, including the seating bowl and suites; gates; loading dock; inner and secondary perimeters; field; locker rooms; utility and mechanical systems; parking areas; and command center.


Royal Realty Corp. d/b/a The Durst Organization, 4TS II LLC and Four Times Square Associates L.L.C.

Approved: April 15, 2025 | Expires: May 31, 2030

Royal Realty Corp. d/b/a The Durst Organization, 4TS II LLC, and Four Times Square Associates L.L.C. provides One Five One Security Program. The Technology is an integrated security system designed to detect, deter, prevent, respond to, and mitigate acts of terrorism against One Five One tenants, visitors, and staff, and is deployed exclusively at One Five One West 42nd Street, New York, New York, against acts of terrorism. The Technology also includes threat and vulnerability programs; integrated policies and procedures; trained personnel; and physical and electronic anti-terrorism security measures.


Port Authority of New York and New Jersey, et al.

Port Authority of New York and New Jersey, et al. provide the World Trade Center Campus Security Assessment, Design, Architectural, and Engineering Services (the Technology). The Technology consists of risk assessments, design elements, and architectural and engineering services used to incorporate security-related design features into building designs for the World Trade Center Campus in New York City, New York.

Omnilert, LLC

Approved: March 21, 2025 | Expires: March 31, 2030

Omnilert, LLC provides Omnilert Gun Detect. The Technology is an Artificial Intelligence (AI)-based software platform that analyzes customers’ cameras and video surveillance footage for firearms. Alerts are verified by Seller-trained individuals. The Technology also includes support services, including project planning, integration, and deployment. It also includes customer training, model and software updates, and customer technical support.


Boeing Distribution, Inc.

Approved: March 13, 2025 | Expires: November 30, 2030

The Boeing Company, a Delaware corporation, provides Tier 3 Customs-Trade Partnership Against Terrorism (CTPAT) Services (the Technology). The Technology provides shipping services that are currently certified under the Customs and Border Protection (CBP) CTPAT program, and that are validated by CBP as exceeding CTPAT minimum security criteria to perform at a Tier 3 level.


Boeing Distribution, Inc.

Approved: March 11, 2025 | Expires: November 30, 2030

Boeing Distribution, Inc. (the Boeing Company) provides Tier III Customs Trade Partnership Against Terrorism (CTPAT) Services. The Technology provides shipping services that are currently certified under the Customs and Border Protection (CBP) CTPAT program, and that are validated by CBP as exceeding CTPAT minimum security criteria to perform at a Tier III level. The Technology also includes implementation of policies procedures which exceed the minimum security of the CTPAT program’s layered security model.
