Approved Technologies

The SAFETY Act provides two levels of liability protections for approval: Designation and Certification. By obtaining either Designation or Certification, companies obtain a level of legal protection in case their technology is ever put to use during a terrorist attack. See below for a list of approved technology certifications.

The Technology is a comprehensive security program based on the National Football League’s ("NFL") Best Practices for Stadium Security, which is composed of policies, procedures, physical, and electronic security equipment, and trained personnel to detect, deter, prevent, respond to, and mitigate Acts of Terrorism on event and non-event days at Lincoln Financial Field.
National Football League Approved: January 29, 2019 \| Expires: January 29, 2024 The National Football League ("NFL") provides the NFL Best Practices Program which is grounded in the NFL Best Practices for Stadium Security ("NFL Best Practices"). The NFL Best Practices is a comprehensive set of guidelines for stadium security management designed to deter and defend against terrorist attacks at sports stadiums (the "Technology"). The NFL delivers and implements its NFL Best Practices through a Stadium Security Evaluation and Compliance Program and through its Stadium Security Training Program, which are designed to promote the highest level of compliance at each stadium in which NFL games are played. The Technology does not include each NFL club’s or stadium owner’s or operator’s implementation of the Technology.
Atlanta Falcons Stadium Company, LLC Approved: January 10, 2019 \| Expires: February 28, 2021 Atlanta Falcons Stadium Company, LLC, provides Mercedes-Benz Stadium Security Program(the "Technology"). The Technology is a comprehensive program comprised of physical and electronic security equipment, tools, emergency planning processes and procedures, and trained personnel for Mercedes-Benz Stadium, a multi-purpose stadium that will host National Football League, Major League Soccer, and other major sporting and entertainment events.
Buffalo Bills, LLC Approved: September 20, 2018 \| Expires: October 31, 2023 Buffalo Bills, LLC, Erie County Stadium Corporation, and Erie County provide New Era Field Security Program (the "Technology"). The Technology is the Applicant’s implementation of the National Football League’s (NFL) Best Practices for Stadium Security, resulting in a program composed of physical and electronic security equipment, tools, emergency planning processes and procedures, and properly trained personnel. The Technology applies to the entire stadium property, including the seating bowl and suites; gates; loading dock; inner and secondary perimeters; field; locker rooms; area housing utility and mechanical systems; command center; and parking areas..
New Meadowlands Stadium Company LLC Approved: September 06, 2018 \| Expires: September 30, 2023 New Meadowlands Stadium Company, LLC, a Delaware limited liability corporation, provides the MetLife Stadium Security Program (the "Technology"). The Technology is an integrated security program composed of physical and electronic security measures, policies and procedures, and personnel, designed to detect, deter, prevent, respond to, and mitigate Acts of Terrorism for use exclusively at Met Life Stadium, inclusive of the Stadium and parking lots, during National Football League ("NFL") Game Days, Non-Game Days, and Special Events.
Kansas City Chiefs Football Club, Inc. Approved: June 06, 2018 \| Expires: June 30, 2023 Kansas City Chiefs Football Club, Inc., provides Arrowhead Stadium Security Program (the "Technology"). The Technology is the Applicant’s implementation of the National Football League’s (NFL) Best Practices for Stadium Security, resulting in a program composed of physical and electronic security equipment, tools, emergency planning processes and procedures, and properly trained personnel. The Technology applies to the entire stadium property, including the seating bowl and suites; gates; loading dock; inner and secondary perimeters; field; locker rooms; area housing utility and mechanical systems; command center; and parking areas.
