Approved Technologies

The SAFETY Act provides two levels of liability protections for approval: Designation and Certification. By obtaining either Designation or Certification, companies obtain a level of legal protection in case their technology is ever put to use during a terrorist attack. See below for a list of approved technology certifications.

PKWARE Corporation

Approved: January 03, 2020 | Expires: January 31, 2025

PKWARE, Inc. provides Smartcrypt, formerly SecureZIP (the "Technology"). The Technology is a software package that provides the ability to protect and safeguard sensitive organizational data in the event of data theft or a terrorist attack on a network. The Technology provides ZIP compression and uses strong AES 256 encryption to protect data in motion or at rest. The Technology also includes Help Desk services and an administrative console for setting and enforcing data security policies.


Tusco, Inc

Approved: December 10, 2019 | Expires: October 31, 2024

Tusco, Inc., provides Perimeter Security Products and Services (the "Technology). The Technology is a set of services for physical security of facility perimeters, including site assessments, construction, installation, and integration of commercial barrier products, maintenance, and user training.


RaySecur Inc.

Approved: December 03, 2019 | Expires: December 31, 2024

RaySecur Inc. provides MailSecur (the "Technololgy"). The Technology is a millimeter wave based detector designed to screen mail content for threats. The Technology also includes training, maintenance, calibration, software updates, and remote support.


Mutualink, Inc.

Approved: November 22, 2019 | Expires: November 30, 2024

Mutualink, Inc. provides Mutualink (the "Technology"). The Technology is an interoperable multimedia communications sharing product that securely connects disparate communication and media sources together for real-time collaboration. The Technology includes training, user manuals, creation, evaluation, exercise and use of concept of operations and standard operating procedures in concert with customers, roll call and table top exercises, live incident user and operational assistance as requested and other customer support services.


Ryder System, Inc.

Approved: November 22, 2019 | Expires: December 31, 2024

Ryder System, Inc. provides Global Supply Chain Security Program (the "Technology"). The Technology consists of physical, technical, and procedural security measures for secure shipment of goods transported across international borders into the United States from non-U.S. locations. The policies, procedures, and implementation of the Technology comply with, and are certified under, the voluntary U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) Customs-Trade Partnership Against Terrorism (CTPAT) program. The Technology includes development of policies and procedures, hiring and vetting of employees and third-party contractors, training, and quality assurance over implementation of the Technology.


BAE Systems Information and Electronic Systems Int

Approved: November 01, 2019 | Expires: November 30, 2024

BAE Systems, Inc. and BAE Systems Information and Electronic Systems Integration Inc. provide the GXP OpsView® software solution (the "Technology") The Technology is a web-and-mobile-based situational awareness and collaboration application, enabling real-time geospatial tracking of incident response personnel and information sharing.


Boeing Distribution, Inc.

Approved: October 25, 2019 | Expires: November 30, 2024

Boeing Distribution, Inc. a wholly-owned subsidiary of The Boeing Company, a Delaware corporation, (the "Seller") provides Tier 3 Customs-Trade Partnership Against Terrorism ("C-TPAT") Services (the "Technology"). The Technology provides shipping services that are currently certified under the Customs and Border Protection ("CBP") C-TPAT program, and that are validated by CBP as exceeding C-TPAT minimum security criteria to perform at a Tier 3 level.


Southern Methodist University

Approved: October 25, 2019 | Expires: November 30, 2024

Southern Methodist University ("SMU"), a non-profit independent university chartered in the State of Texas and its affiliate, SMU Corp., incorporated in the State of Texas, provide SMU’s Security and Emergency Management Program (the "Technology"). The Technology includes policies, procedures, programs, equipment and personnel. SMU also provides security services as a subcontractor to the Office of Presidential Libraries, National Archives and Records Administration ("NARA"), for the George W. Bush Presidential Center ("GWBPC") ("Bush Center").


Claroty LTD

Approved: October 25, 2019 | Expires: November 30, 2022

Claroty LTD and Claroty, Inc. provide the Claroty Platform, a security monitoring solution for operational technology networks. The Technology employs passive and active monitoring techniques, and includes a centralized management dashboard.
