Approved Technologies

The SAFETY Act provides two levels of liability protections for approval: Designation and Certification. By obtaining either Designation or Certification, companies obtain a level of legal protection in case their technology is ever put to use during a terrorist attack. See below for a list of approved technology certifications.

FLO Corporation.: Registered Traveler Solution Approved: December 18, 2007 | Expires: April 30, 2011 FLO Corporation provides the Registered Traveler Solution. The Technology is a biometric identification system that includes hardware, software, and personal enrollment services. “Registered Travelers” receive a “smart card” that contains biometric data and certifies that they have passed a Federal background check. This certification facilitates movement through security checkpoint such as at airports.
