Approved Technologies

The SAFETY Act provides two levels of liability protections for approval: Designation and Certification. By obtaining either Designation or Certification, companies obtain a level of legal protection in case their technology is ever put to use during a terrorist attack. Rate Field Security Program

Chicago White Sox, Ltd., At Your Service, L.L.C., and the Illinois Sports Facilities Authority provide the Rate Field Security Program. The Technology is a persistent, comprehensive, and integrated security program exclusively deployed for and implemented at Rate Field, a sporting, entertainment, and mixed-use complex on the South Side of Chicago, Illinois. The Technology is based on Major League Baseball’s (MLB) Best Stadium Operating Practices (BSOP), other sports industry best practices, other industry practices, and government recommendations and is composed of physical and electronic anti-terrorism security measures, tools, policies and procedures, and trained personnel.
