Approved Technologies

The SAFETY Act provides two levels of liability protections for approval: Designation and Certification. By obtaining either Designation or Certification, companies obtain a level of legal protection in case their technology is ever put to use during a terrorist attack. Security Services/Security Guard Services

Approved: February 13, 2026 | Expires: September 30, 2031

Securitas AB; Securitas Holdings, Inc.; Securitas Services, Inc. (D/B/A Securitas, Inc.); Pinkerton’s LLC; Securitas Critical Infrastructure Services, Inc.; Securitas Critical Infrastructure Services of Puerto Rico, Inc.; and Paragon Systems, Inc. provide Security Services/Security Guard Services. The Technology is a package of security services using armed and unarmed security officers, and includes baseline and annual refresher anti-terrorism training. The Technology also includes policies and procedures, hiring and vetting protocols, a quality control program, and advanced training for response to acts of terrorism involving weapons of mass destruction.
