Approved Technologies

The SAFETY Act provides two levels of liability protections for approval: Designation and Certification. By obtaining either Designation or Certification, companies obtain a level of legal protection in case their technology is ever put to use during a terrorist attack. CNIguard Inc : CNI2000 Intruder Detection System Approved: August 14, 2007 | Expires: August 31, 2012 CNIguard Inc. provides the CNI2000 Intruder Detection System. The Technology is a wireless intruder detection system designed to protect access to treated water via hatches deployed at water treatment facilities. The Technology uses a mixture of hardware and software to monitor the lift status of the lid and presence of tampering. It can integrate with SCADA, and existing security infrastructure, and signal alarms via several avenues of communication. The Technology includes installation of the sensing network.
