Approved Technologies

The SAFETY Act provides two levels of liability protections for approval: Designation and Certification. By obtaining either Designation or Certification, companies obtain a level of legal protection in case their technology is ever put to use during a terrorist attack. Rate Field Security Program Approved: September 02, 2026 \| Expires: September 30, 2031 Chicago White Sox, Ltd., At Your Service, L.L.C., and the Illinois Sports Facilities Authority provide the Rate Field Security Program. The Technology is a persistent, comprehensive, and integrated security program exclusively deployed for and implemented at Rate Field, a sporting, entertainment, and mixed-use complex on the South Side of Chicago, Illinois. The Technology is based on Major League Baseball’s (MLB) Best Stadium Operating Practices (BSOP), other sports industry best practices, other industry practices, and government recommendations and is composed of physical and electronic anti-terrorism security measures, tools, policies and procedures, and trained personnel.
Strategic National Stockpile Transportation and Distribution Approved: August 31, 2026 \| Expires: July 31, 2034 FedEx Custom Critical, Inc., Federal Express Corporation, and FedEx Freight, Inc. provide the Strategic National Stockpile (SNS) Transportation and Distribution Services according to a contract administered by the General Services Administration to perform transportation call center management and logistic services on behalf of the Department of Health and Human Services, Administration for Strategic Preparedness and Response (ASPR).
One Bryant Park Security Program Approved: August 31, 2026 \| Expires: October 31, 2028 One Bryant Park LLC and Bank of America, National Association provide the One Bryant Park Security Program, which is an integrated security system based on suggested guidelines derived from state and local fire prevention codes and government agency recommendations, and is in compliance with New York Local Law 26. The Technology is comprised of policies and procedures, trained personnel, and physical and electronic anti-terrorism security measures, and intended exclusively for use at One Bryant Park, Manhattan, New York. The Technology further includes the hiring, vetting, training, and management oversight of employees.

Terrorism, Crime, and Natural Disaster Awareness Training for Private Security Officers Approved: July 24, 2026 \| Expires: June 30, 2029 The Homeland Security Consulting Group, LLC (HSCG) provides Terrorism Awareness Training for Private Security Officers. The Technology is a publicly available, online, self-paced awareness training program covering threats, defenses, responses, and on-post quality assurance.
