Approved Technologies

The SAFETY Act provides two levels of liability protections for approval: Designation and Certification. By obtaining either Designation or Certification, companies obtain a level of legal protection in case their technology is ever put to use during a terrorist attack. See below for a list of approved technology certifications.

The Technology is a package of security services using armed and unarmed security officers, and includes baseline and annual refresher anti-terrorism training. The Technology also includes policies and procedures, hiring and vetting protocols, a quality control program, and advanced training for response to acts of terrorism involving weapons of mass destruction.

The Technology is physical security services, and the unarmed security officers provide access control, foot patrols, monitor closed-circuit television, and screen people, vehicles, and packages. The Technology includes the hiring, vetting, and training, as well as quality control processes, and a proprietary Command Center.

The Technology is the development, implementation, and recurring review and update of a 24/7 security program at the Campus, the home of the Chicago Cubs Major League Baseball (MLB) Club located in Chicago, Illinois.
