Approved Technologies

The SAFETY Act provides two levels of liability protections for approval: Designation and Certification. By obtaining either Designation or Certification, companies obtain a level of legal protection in case their technology is ever put to use during a terrorist attack. See below for a list of approved technology certifications.

Active and Passive Vehicle Barriers

Approved: February 04, 2026 | Expires: February 28, 2033

Ameristar Perimeter Security USA Inc. provides Active and Passive Barriers. The Technology is a family of barriers designed to restrict unauthorized intrusions by people and vehicles. The Technology includes operator and maintenance manuals.


Rologard K2600 mobile vehicle barriers

Approved: February 04, 2026 | Expires: February 29, 2032

Rologard Global Company, LLC provides the Rologard K2600 Mobile Vehicle Barrier. The Technology is a portable and movable barrier designed to prevent vehicle intrusion and vehicle-based attacks. The Technology also includes an integrated screw jack, foldable handle, and flat proof wheels for positioning and redeployment of the vehicle barrier.  The Technology includes technical documents and user manuals.


Citizens Bank Park Security Program

Approved: January 09, 2026 | Expires: April 30, 2029

The Phillies provides Citizens Bank Park Security Program (the Technology). The Technology consists of a series of policies, physical and electronic measures, and personnel that collectively provide security at Citizens Bank Park. The Technology is deployed 24/7 for Major League Baseball (MLB) games, other sporting events, general entertainment events, political events, and non-event days.


SOS Shooter on Scene

Approved: January 09, 2026 | Expires: January 31, 2029

Integrated Security Group provides SOS Shooter on Scene. The Technology is a smartphone application that provides guidance and training to users to prepare for and mitigate an active attack or other emergencies. The Technology also includes user video and written instructions to provide guidance on how to respond to emergency situations, and training on the use of the application.


ScentWorks K9

Approved: December 02, 2025 | Expires: January 31, 2029

Scent-Works K-9 Academy, L.L.C. provides ScentWorks K9. The Technology is traditional explosive detection canine teams. The Technology includes the detection of explosives in static environments (i.e., vehicles, baggage, and commercial facilities).


Boston Convention and Exhibition Center

Approved: December 02, 2025 | Expires: January 31, 2031

Massachusetts Convention Center Authority ("MCCA") provides a comprehensive, anti-terrorism security program for the protection of the Boston Convention & Exhibition Center (the "Technology"). The Technology is designed and used to deter, detect, and respond to acts of terrorism at the Boston Convention & Exhibition Center.


IntelliSee

Approved: November 24, 2025 | Expires: January 31, 2031

Malum, Inc. (d/b/a IntelliSee) provides IntelliSee, a deep-learning-trained security video footage analytic platform that conducts autonomous detection of specific objects and events. The Technology’s analytics consist of firearm (i.e., handgun, long gun) detection.


Accredit Secure Credentialing Platform/Accredit Mobile Access Control Scanning Application

Approved: November 24, 2025 | Expires: January 31, 2031

Accredit Solutions Inc and EAS Technologies Limited provide the Accredit Secure Credentialing Platform/Accredit Mobile Access Control Scanning Application (the Technology). The Technology is a cloud-based software platform for customers to design, produce, and administer access control credentials.


NBA Arena Security Procedures & Guidelines

Approved: September 30, 2025 | Expires: September 30, 2030

The National Basketball Association (NBA) provides the NBA Arena Security Standards, NBA Security Audits, and NBA Security Training Programs (the Technology). The Technology is a comprehensive set of mandatory security standards for team and arena management designed to deter and defend against terrorist attacks at venues where NBA games are played, in addition to other general security risks. The Technology is implemented through the NBA Security Audits and NBA Security Training Programs, and includes the hiring, vetting, qualifications, and training of NBA security personnel in connection with the three components of the Technology.


Lucas Oil Stadium Security Plan

Approved: September 26, 2025 | Expires: October 31, 2030

Capital Improvement Board of Managers of Marion County, Indiana provides "The Lucas Oil Stadium Safety and Security Program" (the Technology). The Technology is a security program that provides comprehensive security coverage comprising of physical and electronic security equipment, tools, emergency planning process and procedures, and trained personnel for the Lucas Oil Stadium, a multi-purpose stadium that hosts National Football League games and other major sporting and entertainment events.
